New York Expands Commercial Containerization Requirements as part of Anti-Rat Push
Great to see NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) continuing to roll out their containerization program with a requirement for all food scraps awaiting collection to be in containers with tight-fitting lids.
Effective Aug. 1, the city’s Department of Sanitation requires that “all food-related businesses must set out any putrescible solid waste, including refuse and organic waste, for collection in containers with secure lids.
We think this should be a non-negotiable for all downtown areas, and cart housings are a great way to ensure that your sidewalks are always kept clean and safe!
