New trash & recycling cart installed at Lincoln Road Mall to enhance cleanliness and sustainability

Miami Beach, FL

A new trash and recycling unit has been installed along the iconic Lincoln Road Mall, a pedestrian-friendly destination that attracts over 10 million visitors annually. This addition aims to improve waste management in one of Miami Beach’s most vibrant and heavily trafficked areas.

Stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to Biscayne Bay, Lincoln Road is a historic and cultural hub, originally redesigned in the 1960s by famed architect Morris Lapidus. Today, the pedestrian mall remains a focal point for modern culture seekers, offering over 200 boutiques, restaurants and public art installations. In a city full of beautiful people, beautiful architecture and beautiful beaches, even the carts need to shine!

The installation of the new unit provides a modular solution for co-located trash and recycling, supporting ongoing efforts to maintain cleanliness and promote sustainability in Miami Beach. The top-loading aperture format is ideal for high-footfall areas like the iconic Lincoln Road. It prevents recycling contamination and ensures that both locals and visitors can enjoy the area while reducing litter and encouraging responsible waste disposal. The clean space design of the unit itself has allowed for the aesthetic wrap, totally in keeping with the beauty of the Lincoln Road and perfect for visual messaging.
