New Waste & Recycling Infrastructure for Raymond Rosen Manor, Philadelphia Housing Authority
The Raymond Rosen Apartments in North Philadelphia, one of the Philadelphia Housing Authority’s largest and oldest developments, recently underwent a transformative waste and recycling infrastructure upgrade. Faced with persistent dumping, littering, and a lack of proper waste containment, the site needed a practical solution to improve hygiene and restore order.
In partnership with PHA, metroSTOR delivered a tailored system of secure, rodent-proof waste and recycling enclosures positioned throughout the site. The result has been a cleaner, more manageable environment with reduced dumping and improved resident access to proper disposal points. This project marks a significant step forward in supporting long-term sustainability and operational efficiency across PHA communities.
