metroSTOR work with DC Government on Food Waste Collection Pilot

We’re delighted to be working with Christine McCoy and D’Andre Garrison at the DC Government on a food scraps curbside collection pilot due to commence this summer and run for one calendar year.

They’re looking forward to using our FX cart enclosures with Bluetooth-controlled access to minimise contamination in public settings.

Look out for updates as the pilot progresses and we assist the DC DPW Office of Waste Diversion with its objectives of diverting food waste from landfill and providing accessible curbside collection services for participating households.
