Cleaner Streets for SOMA West

In a proactive move to improve street cleanliness and tackle waste management challenges, the SOMA West Community Benefit District in San Francisco has partnered with metroSTOR to install three custom-designed on-street trash cart enclosures.

Serving one of the city’s busiest and most densely populated neighborhoods, these new units offer a hygienic, hands-free disposal option via foot-pedal operation, clear district branding through graphic wrap panels, and robust galvanized steel construction built for heavy urban use. The enclosures also feature secure, aperture-controlled access to help reduce littering, deter illegal dumping, and prevent vermin intrusion.
