metroSTOR at the MWMA Fall Summit 2025

The MWMA Fall Summit is back this September, bringing municipal solid waste, recycling and sustainability leaders together from across the country – September 16–18, Hotel Champlain, Burlington, Vermont

Over three days, city, county and regional decision-makers will dig into the biggest issues facing our industry today, including:

The program also includes plenty of networking time and site tours of local facilities. metroSTOR are proud to be a part of the action on the floor and on stage this year.

In session with metroSTOR

On Wednesday, September 17 (10:30–11:45 am), Business Development Director, Nigel Deacon, joins the Innovations in Technology session to share how the metroKEY app is changing the way cities manage recycling and organics.

Nigel will share how Washington, DC is already putting metroKEY to work — cutting contamination, driving participation and making recycling easier across streams like food scraps, glass, cardboard, textiles, and batteries.

That’s just the start: Expect a look ahead at what’s next for the app, from gamification and rebates to smarter feedback loops that keep residents engaged and programs on track.

Drop by and connect

Stop by the metroSTOR booth during the Summit to check out our solutions for creating cleaner neighborhoods, reducing contamination and raising diversion rates with practical, easy-to-use infrastructure.

Our team will be available throughout the event to talk through challenges, share real-world examples and show how metroSTOR can support the next generation of waste and recycling programs.
